CaptionShift processes selected file contents locally in your browser. The converter code does not upload file contents, use analytics, load advertising trackers, or create behavioral profiles.

Local browser data

A single local flag may be stored to remember whether the one-document demo has been used. It does not contain filenames, file contents, converted output, contact details, transactions, calendar events, captions, or images.

Hosting and payments

Your hosting provider may keep ordinary request logs. Purchases are processed on a separate Paddle checkout portal. Paddle may receive billing details, payment-method information, device data, IP address, and other information needed to process the purchase, calculate tax, prevent fraud, and provide a receipt. Paddle is not loaded on the converter page and does not receive the file selected for conversion.
